Happy Father’s Day
June 19th is Dad’s day. The photo this month is the last one taken of my Dad. This was in South Florida just two weeks before he went to the hospital to never return home… It was the only time in his life that he stayed at a Ritz Carlton, and I hold so many wonderful memories of the visit. This is meant to remind us all ~ cherish the moments we have, and make sure our friends, and loved ones, know how important they are in our lives. My Father was a librarian, so I know he would love the following quotes:
“When I was a boy of 14, my father was so ignorant I could hardly stand to have the old man around. But when I got to be 21, I was astonished at how much he had learned in 7 years.” – Mark Twain
“He didn’t tell me how to live; he lived, and let me watch him do it.” – Clarence Budington Kelland
