As Mentioned in the Lakefront News, the Lake County Sheriff has been patrolling the neighborhood.  This is in direct response to the concerns voiced from many neighbors to the Board.  When the Sheriff’s office was contacted, he took immediate action.  Several neighbors and visitors have had experienced this action up close and in person.  Remember that ALL traffic laws still apply within the gates of Magnolia Pointe.  The biggest concerns mentioned were speeding, failure to stop at signs, and ignoring rules regarding a school bus.  It is with this in mind that the Sheriff has taken a more active role in patrolling the Community.  The speed limit on the boulevard is 30 MPH, and is designed to help keep the Community a desirable and safe place to live.
