From the MP Lakefront Association

Your HOA Dues at Work!
Our Entrance Project is complete and we hope that you are pleased with the results. We now have a state of the art entry system to secure our neighborhood. Thanks for your patience during this transition. The Guards can now monitor the Lakefront Gate activity on a TV screen in the Guardhouse and our CAM Parveen can manage barcodes from her computer. This is a significant upgrade to our old system.

Thanks also to all of our Board members for their persistence and determination to get the best system at the lowest possible cost. I am very pleased that we were able to accomplish exactly what we set out to do at the cost that we originally targeted.

KEY POINT WHEN ENTERING OUR NEGHBORHOOD:
Please stay to the left when approaching the entrance gate to allow the white bar code scanner to get the best read of your sticker.

Q2 Board Meeting
We will be conducting our Board meeting on Wednesday May 16th at 6:00pm in the Sweetwater Ridge Clubhouse. All residents are invited to attend the meeting. We will be discussing several topics relating to the safety, security, and beauty of our neighborhood. We look forward to seeing you there. If you have topics that you feel need to be addressed, please feel free to communicate them to any Board member or Parveen Guthrie our CAM.

Lawn, Construction, and Maintenance Vendors
Our streets can become very congested when several Vendors are in our Neighborhood at the same time. Most Vendors are considerate and do their best to park responsibly and maintain a safe traffic flow. That said however, there are some vendors that are sloppy, careless, and inconsiderate about the safety and appearance of our neighborhood. These Vendors need to be given feedback and if they don’t respond, or if they choose to be argumentative; we will have no choice but to restrict them from entry in the future. Please observe your Vendors and talk with them about parking safely and working safely to ensure that they may continue to service your property. Thank you for your cooperation on this issue.

Also, please be aware that going forward we will be more strictly enforcing the times that Vendors and Contractors may enter our neighborhood. No construction equipment or vehicles may be parked on street overnight. No work is to start before 7 a.m. or continue after 7 p.m. Monday through Friday. No work is to start on Saturday before 8 a.m. or continue after 12 noon. No work on Sunday or Holidays. Please contact Parveen Guthrie in advance for special circumstances.

Kids on the Run
This is just another friendly reminder to help maintain the safety of our children. The neighborhood is full of Kids and continued caution is necessary to prevent accidents. Parents please know what your kids are doing and supervise them at all times when they are using the streets as a playground. We want to allow the children to enjoy themselves, but at the same time we don’t want an accident to occur that we will all regret.

As always, if you have questions or concerns about our neighborhood or if you would be interested in serving on our Board, please feel free to e mail me at rsimpson7@embarqmail.com and I will do my best to act upon your request along with the help of our great Board. ~ Bob Simpson
