From the Desk of the President

Last year was another year of enhancements to our community. The upgrade and addition to our amenities is continued and on-going. In the past twelve months we have added cameras at the gate house, installed a new sidewalk at the tennis courts, upgraded the landscaping, added to our holiday entrance lighting, cleared the lakefront beach area, replaced rotting wood on the dock and gazebo pier, and hosted our first ANNUAL neighborhood picnic and on and on. None of this happens by accident. We have a very active and engaged board and I would like to thank each of them for their service to our community.
This year we already have several projects underway and here are a few:

• Our first Master Association Egg Hunt – Saturday, April 7 at 10AM.
• Installing security cameras at the tennis courts, tot lot and the boat ramp area. These will be monitored at the guardhouse and will be operational within 30 days.
• Sealing the boat ramp parking area. This will be a three-day project after Easter weekend.
• Securing bids and checking references for a guardhouse makeover. The building is 13 years old and in need of an upgrade.
• Recreating the landscape around the guardhouse for an outside makeover as well.
• New Palm Tree on the Boulevard near the guardhouse.

Last, you may have seen elsewhere in this Newsletter that we are very close to an agreement with a world class internet, cable and telephone provider. This has been a long process and the rumor mill is running wild. In the next few days we will announce who that provider will be, when you can expect the service and when we will be conducting sign ups. Because we are so close to having this completed we are asking that you refrain from contacting any of the providers. They will not know how to answer any of your questions. Our neighborhood will require equipment upgrades that may take several weeks. As soon as we are able to announce we will send a neighborhood email with all the details.
That’s all folks, come to a meeting, get involved, we all benefit.
