Negotiations are DONE for a new service provider for cable and internet to Magnolia Pointe. Florida Cable sold their interest in Magnolia Pointe to Bright House Networks. Bright House will take the next couple of months to upgrade the technology and make sure Magnolia Pointe is set up for success moving forward. They expect to officially begin service to Magnolia Pointe by August 1, 2012. I know it seems like so long from now, but as I said they really want to make sure everything is ready for new technology that has happened since 14 years ago, when Magnolia Pointe was developed. They will not tearing up the roads or anything like that, but you may see the trucks in the neighborhood over the next couple of months. PLEASE do not call them just yet! The customer service and ordering department will not have Magnolia Point on their ‘radar’ till July and we will let you know when it is okay to begin calling. We just wanted to share this information as soon as possible…so change is coming; we just have to be patient a little longer.
